ABOUT THE TEAM
The MU cheer team is a co-ed team of full time undergrad students ranging in age from 18 to 24 years. We cheer at all home football games, as well as men's and women's basketball games. Occasionally, we will travel to an away football or basketball game, but only for a special circumstance like a big rival game, playoffs, or championship game. The Marian University football team won the NAIA National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida this year and we were lucky enough to cheer at this event! We were also blessed to travel with the team to the
2014 NAIA Football National Championship game in Daytona Beach, Florida in December 2014 where we were able to take a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We also had the opportunity to cheer at the 2012 NAIA Football National Championship game in Rome, Georgia, which was our first national title!

TIME COMMITMENT
If you were to be selected as a member of the team, you can expect to be at a cheer-related event about 3-4 times a week. This could include practices, team work outs, tumbling classes, games, or local appearances. We begin in June and end in February. Practices are scheduled around class schedules.
