CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The 21st-ranked Marian University women's tennis team concluded its 2013-14 regular season with a 17-9 overall record with a 6-3 win over Campbellsville University on Sunday at the Hall Tennis Complex.

The Knights picked up four points in singles play on Saturday. Senior Brittney Horlacher moved to 16-15 on the year after falling at No. 1 singles 7-6 (5), 2-6, 10-8. Junior Hannah Knust moved to 19-11 on the year after defeating CU's Giedlys Salazar 7-6 (2), 6-2 at No. 2 singles.

Senior Lauren Paras fell at No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-4 to move to 12-9 on the year, while senior Olivia Pursell moved to 15-12 on the year after picking up a 6-2, 7-6 (3) victory at No. 4 singles. Freshman Anna Potter improved on her record-setting season as she moved to 24-6 after winning at No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-2. Freshman Grace Neathery added a victory at No. 6 singles with a 6-1, 6-4 defeat of Kelsie Peckham.

In doubles play, the Knights went 2-1 on Sunday. Horlacher and Knust moved to 18-16 on the year after falling at No. 1 by a score of 8-4. Paras and Pursell moved to 13-5 after winning 8-4 at No. 2, while Anna Potter and sophomore Colleen Yager moved to 2-0 after an 8-5 win at No. 3.
