Freshman Kyle Luckiewicz competed at No. 5 singles at DePauw
RESULTS

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Marian University men's tennis team ran into the nationally ranked juggernaut that is DePauw University on Tuesday afternoon and suffered a 9-0 defeat to the Tigers.

Freshman Kyle Luckiewicz (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North) and senior Jeff Graf (Sunman, Ind./East Central) managed to pull three points each from their opponents to lead the Knights. Luckiewicz lost, 1-6, 2-6, at No. 5 singles, while Graf fell at No. 6 singles, 3-6, 0-6.

Junior Brice Fairchild (New Castle, Ind./Tri) pulled two games from his opponent, but fell at No. 1 singles, 1-6, 1-6, while freshman Andrew Voss (West Lafayette, Ind./West Lafayette) fell at No. 2 singles, 1-6, 0-6. Junior Brad Mustin (Lebanon, Ind./Lebanon) dropped his match at No. 3 singles, 0-6, 0-6, while senior Stedman Carmony (Arlington, Ind./Greenfield) fell at No. 4 singles, 0-6, 0-6.

Fairchild and Mustin fell at No. 1 doubles, 3-8, while Voss and Luckiewicz lost, 2-8, at No. 2 doubles. Graf and senior Joe Nelson (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) fell at No. 3 doubles, 1-8.

The Knights get back on the court on Thursday when the Taylor University Trojans come to the Marian University Tennis Courts. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
