INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University men's soccer team had two of its players honored as All-Conference selections, the conference office announced on Thursday.
Senior back
Don Oldham (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) was named to the All-Conference first team after a strong season as the leader in the back. Oldham has been a consistent presence in the back line of the Knights as he has captained the defense throughout his three seasons with Marian University. It is the first time he has been named to the All-Conference first team.
Sophomore goalkeeper
James Dulhanty (Lebanon, Ind./Lebanon) was also named to the All-Conference second team after a stellar season in between the pipes. Dulhanty finished with a 2.20 goals-against-average, but made 115 saves for the Knights.
He had a trio of tremendous performances against then-No. 18-ranked Auburn University-Montgomery when he made 11 saves, against then-No. 9-ranked University of Mobile when he made 14 saves, and against then-No. 10-ranked Bethel College when he made 14 saves. He also made 11 saves against Indiana Wesleyan University.
The honor is the first of his career.
The Knights head to No. 9-ranked Bethel College for the first round of the MCC Tournament on Saturday in Mishawaka, Ind. The match is slate for 7 p.m.
