GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Marian University women's volleyball team was able to exact some revenge on NCAA Division III No. 24-ranked DePauw University on the road on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Knights swept the Tigers in three sets, 25-23, 25-22, 25-20, to avenge the defeat Depauw handed them in their home opener on September 1. The win improved the Knights record to 27-7 and dropped the Tigers to the same 27-7 mark.
 
Junior Sadie Dizney (Speedway, Ind./Speedway) led the Knights with 11 kills, while sophomore Brittany Miller (Indianapolis, Ind./Warren Central) added nine kills and a team-high 12 digs for the Knights.
 
Freshman Holly Wasmund (Avon, Ind./Avon) finished with a team-high 27 assists, while senior Ashley Hanslits (Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard) added two service aces and eight kills.
 
The Knights close the 2009 regular season when they head to Bethel College in Mishawaka, Ind., on Wednesday night. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
