INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head women's volleyball coach Dan Findley, the 2009 MCC Coach of the Year, is proud to announce the first commitment for the 2010-11 season.

Jacklyn Dizney, who will graduate from Speedway High School this year, is the first student-athlete to sign for the Knights for 2010-11. She is the current school record holder in assists at Speedway High School and was a four-year starter.

"We are excited to have Jacklyn join our program next season," said Findley, who won 20 matches for the fourth time in his career. "Jacklyn is an excellent student with exceptional volleyball skills. She possesses great defensive skills and is an accomplished setter. Her competitiveness and winning attitude will be an asset to our program."

Dizney was named All-Conference on three occasions, and she was named All-Marion County honorable mention. She earned team Most Valuable Player honors and served as the team captain.

The Knights finished 2009 with a 29-8 overall record and finished as the runners-up in the MCC with a 6-2 conference mark.
