INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University women's basketball team remained in the Top 25 for the fifth straight week, the national office announced on Monday. After a 1-1 week, the Knights moved down one spot to No. 24 spot in the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The Knights, Indiana Wesleyan (No. 9), Saint Francis (No. 11) and Huntington University (No. 18) remain in the poll, while Bethel and Taylor both received votes. The MCC has the second-most teams ranked in this week's top 25.
The Knights went 1-1 this past week as they went on the road and fell to Taylor University on the road before coming home to hammer Kuyper College on Friday night. They carry a 7-5 record in the MCC and are 16-10 overall. Currently, they are fourth in the MCC.
The 24th-ranked Knights travel to Bethel College on Wednesday before returning home to take on No. 9-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University on Saturday at the Physical Education Center. Both games will be broadcast
