Marian University head cheerleading coach Courtney Mustin has announced the date for 2010-11 cheerleading tryouts. She has also announced two dates when prospective cheerleaders can come to Marian University to work out.

Tryouts will take place on Sunday, April 18 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Physical Education Center. For more information visit the Cheerleading page and click on Auditions or CLICK HERE.

Coach Mustin has also announced two dates available for prospective cheerleaders to come work out at Marian University.

The first "open gym" will take place on Sunday, March 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Physical Education, while the second will take place on Sunday, April 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Physical Education Center.

The time will be completely open to what prospective cheerleaders would like to work on in preparation for tryouts. Cheerleading mats will be available during both open gym sessions. Some things that can be focused on during open gym sessions include: tumbling, jumping, school song dance (which you must know for tryouts), and stunting (partner or group).

Remember, Acceptance to Marian University is REQUIRED prior to trying out.
