WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Marian University women's track and field team competed in a non-scored invitational at Purdue University this past Saturday.
Junior
Kirsten Sordelet (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Dwenger) finished second in the high jump with a height of 1.50 meters. Junior
Miriam Karwath (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) also had a second-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.60.
Junior
Patrice Fernandes (Indianapolis, Ind./Loara) ran an 8.09 in the 60-meter dash, which was good enough for a fourth-place finish.
Freshman
Amy Walker (Frankfort, Ind./Clinton Central) ran her way to a fourth-place finish in the 600-meter run, with a time of 1:45.57.
The Knights will now prepare for their outdoor season, which begins on March 20 as they travel to Crawfordsville, Ind., for the Wabash Relays.
