INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head women's volleyball coach Dan Findley is proud to announce his second commitment for the 2010-11 season.

Kacie Kelly, who will graduate from Franklin Community High School this spring, became the second to commit to the Knights for next season on Wednesday.

"Kacie is an excellent blocker and setter," said Findley. "Her defensive skills are impressive and her dedication to faith, family, education and athletics makes her a great addition to the Marian University women's volleyball program. We are excited to have her coming to Marian."

Kelly was a three-year starter at setter and was named team captain in each of her three seasons. She had a team-high in assists in all three seasons and earned the team's Most Improved Player award on two occasions. She was named All-County honorable mention in 2007 and earned All-South honors in 2007 and 2008.

She was the team's Most Valuable Player in 2008 and 2009 and was named All-Conference during both seasons. She was the Greenfield Central Tournament Most Valuable Player in 2008 and 2009 and was named a Mid-State Conference Scholar-Athlete.

She held the team-high in blocks as a junior and senior and won the team's Mental Attitude Award in both seasons as well. She was also named the team's top offensive player as a senior.

Kelly will join a Knights team that earned a runner-up finish in the Mid-Central College Conference and a 29-8 record, the second-best all-time.
