RENSSELAER, Ind. - The Marian University women's track and field team traveled to Rensselaer, Ind., on Saturday where it competed at St. Joseph's College.

The Knights fell to Saint Joseph, 88-63.

Junior Patrice Fernandes (Indianapolis, Ind./Loara) placed first in both the 100-meter dash (12.91) and the 400-meter hurdles (1:13).

Freshman Amy Walker (Frankfort, Ind./Clinton Central) won the 400-meters, junior Emily Miller (Eaton, Ind./Delta) the 800-meters, junior Adrienne Shepherd (Kokomo, Ind./Kokomo) in the 1500-meters, and freshman Jaymee Schambers (Milton, Ind./Cambridge City Lincoln) in the 110-meter hurdles.

Both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams placed first for the Knights.

MU will be back in action next weekend when it competes in West Lafayette, Ind., at Purdue University.
