INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head men's and women's bowling coach Chad Hardin is proud to annoucne the commitment of Kevin Rush for the inaugural season of Knights bowling.

Rush, who will graduate from Lake Central High School this spring, was the 2010 Conference Bowler of the Year and was named All-Conference on three occasions. He was the anchor for a team that set three state records and was a four-year starter in bowling.

"I am excited to have Kevin join our team," said Hardin. "He had an excellent senior year and I hope he carries that momentum with him at the college level. We are expecting big things from him over the next four years."

He was a two-time semi-state individual qualifier and was the 2010 individual sectional champion. He was also named All-State first team as a senior.

Rush joins a program on the rise as Coach Hardin has surpassed his goals for the inaugural season and is currently getting ready to begin competition this fall.
