INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head women's volleyball coach Dan Findley is proud to announce his third commitment for the 2010-11 season.

Becky Gramer, who will graduate from Ben Davis High School this spring, became the third student-athlete to commit to the Knights for next season.

"Becky's athleticism sets her apart from many other outside hitters," said Findley. "She has an outstanding vertical jump and plays great defense. Becky's work in the classroom is just as impressive as she has a 4.6 GPA on a 4.0 scale. We are excited to have her compete with the Knights next season."

Gramer was a three-year varsity starter and was named team captain as a senior. She was named All-Marion County honorable mention in 2009 and was the team's best defensive player in 2008 and in 2009. She was selected to tryout for the South All-Stars and competed as a member of the Circle City Volleyball Club for five years.

She is an Academic Giant (3.5 GPA or better) and is currently ranked 17th in a class of 917 students at Ben Davis. She is a member of the National Honor Society and was one of 15 recipients of the Indiana Career and Technical Award of Excellence.

Gramer will join a Knights team that earned a runner-up finish in the Mid-Central College Conference and a 29-8 record, the second-best all-time.
