INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University baseball team will play host to Goshen College on Tuesday afternoon at Marian University Baseball Field in the opening two games of the Mid-Central College Conference Play-in Series.

The two nine-inning games will begin at 4 p.m.

If the Knights sweep they will head to the MCC Tournament as the No. 4 seed, but a split would bring both teams back to MU Baseball Field on Wednesday for the third and decisive nine-inning game.

Wednesday's game, if necessary, is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The MCC Tournament begins on Saturday, May 8 at Indiana Wesleyan University. The tourney will continue on Monday and Tuesday to decide which team will represent the MCC at the 2010 NAIA National Championships on May 18-21 for a chance at the 2010 Avista-NAIA World Series on May 28 through June 4 in Lewiston, Idaho.
