INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head softball coach Scott Fleming, the two-time MCC Coach of the Year, is proud to announce another commitment for the 2010-11 season of Knights softball.

The 2010 MCC champions are proud to announce the signing of Darrien Harris, who will graduate from Logansport High School, for next year.

Harris was a two-year National Honor Society member and was an All-Conference first team selection as a junior. The two-time team captain earned the Lady Berry Award as the best all-around player as a sophomore and a junior.

She was also named All-Conference first team as a sophomore and as a freshman.

Harris brings the 2010-11 class to four for the 2010 MCC champions.

The Knights are coming off the most successful season in MU history afer posting a 42-6 overall record and an unblemished 16-0 mark in the MCC. The Knights won their second-ever MCC title and finished with the best record in the 20-year history of the program.
