INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head volleyball coach Dan Findley is proud to announce the fourth commitment for the 2010-11 season of Knights volleyball.

Katie Kaiser, who will graduate from Columbus North High School, signed with coach Findley recently and becomes the fourth player to commit for the 2010 season.

"We are excited that Kaite has decided to earn her degree at Marian University and join our volleyball program," said Findley. "Katie's communication skills on the court are second to none and she is an outstanding defensive player who will contribute immediately."

Kaiser was a three-year varsity starter and was a two-time team captain as a junior and senior. She was named All-Area in 2008 and 2009, and she was named honorable mention All-Conference in 2008 and All-Conference in 2009. She is No. 12 in the state in digs per game and was selected to tryout for the South All-Stars.

She competes as a member of the Hoosierland Volleyball Club and is an honor roll student who is a member of the National Honor Society.

Kaiser is the fourth player to commit for the 2010 season to a program that had one of its best seasons in school history in 2009.
