BEND, Ore. - Marian University rising junior and 2009 collegiate national road champion Sinead Miller earned the 2010 U23 national championship in the time trail event at the 2010 USA Cycling Junior, U23 and Elite Road Championships in Bend, Ore., on Thursday.
 
Miller, who is a member of Team Peanut Butter and Co./Twenty12 and was riding unattached, finished in 16th place in the Time Trial in the Elite category, but won the U23 Time Trial title with a time of 52:32.8.
 
Rising sophomore Jackie Kurth also picked up a 36th-place finish in the Elite Time Trial with a time of 59:56.8
 
Incoming freshman Kaitlin Antonneau earned a fifth-place finish in the U19 Time Trial with a time of 41:24.8 while riding for Team Kenda.
 
In the men's U23 Time Trial, senior David Williams earned a podium finish after he tallied a third-place finish at the 2010 championships for Bissell Cycling.
 
The Knights will continue to compete at the 2010 championships on Friday and Saturday in Bend, Ore.
