INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head men's tennis coach Kristopher Looney resigned on Friday in a letter submitted to Director of Athletics Joe Haklin.

Looney spent one season with the Knights and compiled a 6-12 overall record and a 4-3 mark in the Mid-Central College Conference. Rising senior Brice Fairchild was named All-Conference under Looney's tutelage as the Knights finished in third place in the MCC.

"We thank coach Looney for his time with the program and wish him well in all of his future endeavors," said Haklin.

Marian University men's tennis has eight returning from last season with five newcomers currently committed for the 2010-11 season.
