CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The Marian University women's cross country
competed in the 49th annual Wabash Hokum Karem on Saturday in
Crawfordsville, Ind. The Knights finished fourth of six with a final
team score of 33.
MU's duo of sophomore Kassandra Gearlds and freshman Lauren Borchelt finished fourth overall, completing the course in 23:50, while senior Adrienne Shepherd and freshman Staci Roberts finished in 14th with a time of 24:45.
The Knights are back in action next Friday for 5k and 8k races when they travel to Olivet Nazarene.
The women's race was a four mile long run where individual runners from each school paired up to complete the distance.
