UPLAND, Ind. - The Marian University volleyball team dropped its fifth straight match at No. 9-ranked Taylor University, 23-25, 14-25, 15-25, at Odle Arena in Upland, Ind., on Wednesday night.

Junior Kelsee Evans led the Knights with a team-high 11 kills, while junior Brittany Miller added eight kills. Senior Danielle Perry also added six kills for the Knights.

Sophomore Holly Wasmund had a team-high 22 assists, while sophomore Jaymee Schambers had a match-high 16 digs in defense.

The Knights (6-14; 4-5 MCC) will head to the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) on Friday night at the Hutzell Athletic Center in Fort Wayne, Ind. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
