INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University volleyball team snapped a five-match losing skid on Friday night with a four-set win over the University of Saint Francis (Ind.), 25-15, 22-25, 26-24, 35-33, in Fort Wayne, Ind.
 
Senior Carrie Sherman led four Knights in double figures in attack with 15 kills and just one hitting error. Senior Sadie Dizney tallied 12 kills, while junior Kelsee Evans added 10 kills and senior Danielle Perry notched 11 kills.
 
Freshman Kacie Kelly notched a career-high 42 assists, while junior Brittany Miller tallied a career-high 28 digs in the win. Freshman Katie Kaiser added 18 digs, while freshman Becky Gramer added 17 digs in defense.
 
The Knights take on Spring Arbor University on Saturday afternoon at the Physical Education Center. First serve is at 3 p.m.
