MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The Marian University volleyball team had its five-match winning streak snapped on the road against Mid-Central College Conference foe Bethel College in a five-set thriller, 21-25, 24-26, 25-20, 25-19, 15-8, on Friday night.
 
Senior Kelsee Evans led two Knights in double figure in attacks with a team-high 14 kills, while junior Ashley Francis notched 13 kills. Sophomore Becky Gramer tallied nine kills, while senior Brittany Miller had six kills. Sophomore Kacie Kelly had a team-high 28 assists, while junior Karli Williamson added nine assists.
 
Junior Jaymee Schambers led the Knights in defense with 23 digs, while Miller added 16 digs and sophomore Katie Kaiser added 10 digs. Francis led the Knights with three solo blocks and four block assists. Miller added three block assists, while Kelly added four block assists and one solo block.
 
The Knights get back into action on Monday when they head to Hanover College for a 7 p.m. first serve.
