GOSHEN, Ind. - The Marian University volleyball team had its five-match winning streak snapped in a 23-25, 20-25, 20-25 road defeat at Goshen College on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights fell to 13-8 overall and 7-6 in Mid-Central College Conference play.

Senior Kelsee Evans led the Knights in attack with eight kills, while senior Brittany Miller added seven kills and four digs. Junior Ashley Francis notched six kills in attack for the Knights.

Junior Jaymee Schambers notched a team-high eight digs, while sophomore Kacie Kelly added 23 assists for the Knights.

MU will return to the Physical Education Center next Saturday to play host to new conference foe Mount Vernon Nazarene University. First serve is slated for 1 p.m.
