INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University volleyball team rebounded from last weekend's defeat at Goshen College to defeat Mount Vernon Nazarene University, 25-9, 25-10, 22-25, 25-17, at the Physical Education Center on Saturday afternoon.
 
Senior Kelsee Evans led the Knights with a career-high 19 kills and a .750 attack percentage in the win. She also notched an assist, four digs and three block assists in the win. Junior Ashley Francis tallied nine kills and had a .750 attack percentage, while sophomore Kacie Kelly notched 45 assists.
 
Junior Jaymee Schambers tallied a team-high 18 digs, while sophomore Katie Kaiser added 11 digs and Kelly notched nine digs in defense. Francis added two solo blocks for the Knights' defense.
 
MU heads to Fort Wayne to take on the University on Saint Francis (Ind.) on Wednesday night. first serve is slated for 7 p.m.
