INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University men's basketball team dropped the final game of three in five days as the Knights fell to Bethel College, 70-55, at the Physical Education Center on Saturday afternoon.

Alex Sylvester scored a game-high 26 points, 20 in the first half, hit four three-pointers and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds to lead the Knights. Junior
Aaron Evans scored 15 points, grabbed five rebounds and handed out four assists, while junior
Matt Dickerson grabbed seven boards for the Knights.
Sylvester scored 20 of the Knights' 34 first-half points as MU went into the locker room down 36-34 at the interval. MU stayed with the Pilots in the first frame as BC shot 52 percent (14-for-27) from the field, while the Knights shot 42 percent (14-for-33), including four three-pointers.
However, the second half saw the Knights go ice cold from the field, while Bethel attacked the basket and sank 16 of its 21 free throws to pull away for the 70-55 win. MU shot just 24 percent (7-for-29) from the field and a blustery 8 percent (1-for-14) from three-point range.
The Knights fell to 11-6 overall and 2-4 in the Mid-Central College Conference, while the Pilots improved to 11-6 overall and 3-3 in the MCC.
MU will hit the road on Tuesday night when they head to the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) for a 7 p.m. tip.
