Steve Mackell is proud to announce his second commitment for the 2012-13 season.
Jack Hiatt, who will graduate from Hamilton Heights High School this spring, signed to compete with the Knights on Wednesday. He is the second commitment for Mackell, who is in his second year.
"Jack is a great student and a natural athlete with tons of potential," said Mackell. "We are excited to have in on our team."
Hiatt was a Presidential award winner in each of his four years and was a member of the National Honor Society. He served as the vice president of the student government each year. He also excelled in the classroom having earned academic all-state honorable mention and academic all-conference honors.
On the court, Hiatt was the Mid-Indiana Conference No. 1 singles champion in 2010 and 2011 as well as a two-time team most valuable player. He earned all-conference first team honors in 2010 and 2011 and was a two-time All-Hamilton County pick. He also earned all-district and all-state honorable mention honors. Hiatt was named an Indiana All-Star for his performance on the court.
Hiatt is the second commitment after Taylor Kinney signed with the Knights.
