SPRING ARBOR, Michigan - The Marian College women's cross country team closed the 2008 season at the MCC Championships on Saturday. The Knights finished ninth overall.
Sophomore
Adrienne Shepherd (Kokomo, Indiana/Kokomo) was the top finisher after she earned a 35th-place finish with a time of 20:37.6. Senior
Amanda Frey (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oldenburg Academy) finished 65th with a time of 21:35.9 while junior
Brooke Meier (Brookville, Indiana/Oldenburg Academy) finished 71st with a time of 21:43.7. Sophomore
Emily Miller (Eaton, Indiana/Delta) finished in 74th with a time of 21:51.1.
Freshmen
Audra Gehlhausen (Bristow, Indiana/Perry Central) and
Laura Neuman (Rushville, Indiana/Rushville) finished back-to-back with times of 21:58.6 and 22:06.6, respectively. Senior
Stefanie Krueger (Tell City, Indiana/Tell City) finished with a time of 22:32.3 while junior
Jill Kuntz (Batesville, Indiana/Oldenburg Academy) finished in 22:54.6.
The Knights closed a campaign that featured a second-place finish in the non-Division I category at the Evansville Invitational.
