LISLE, Illinois - The Marian College women's cross country team earned a seventh-place finish at the Eagle Invitational on the campus of Benedictine University on Friday afternoon.
The Knights finished with 192 points and were tied with the host institution.
Freshman
Laura Neuman (Rushville, Indiana/Rushville) led the Knights with a 28th-place finish after she ran a 26:52.22. Sophomore
Adrienne Shepherd (Kokomo, Indiana/Kokomo) earned a 34th-place finish with a time of 27:18.91. Freshman
Audra Gehlhausen (Bristow, Indiana/Perry Central) earned a 36th-place finish with a time of 27:27.61.
Junior
Brooke Meier (Brookville, Indiana/Oldenburg Academy) finished in 48th-place after she ran a 28:11.83 and sophomore
Emily Miller (Eaton, Indiana/Delta) finished in 54th place with a time of 28:33.11.
Junior
Jill Kuntz (Batesville, Indiana/Oldenburg Academy) earned a 59th-place finish with a time of 28:42.63 while senior
Amanda Frey (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oldenburg Academy) finished in 63rd place after she ran a time of 28:52.38.
Senior
Stefanie Krueger (Tell City, Indiana/Tell City) finished in 65th place with a time of 28:57.47 while freshman
Marissa Gill (Slidell, Louisiana/Slidell) finished in 69th place with a time of 29:18.60.
The Knights will head to Evansville, Indiana, for the Evansville Invitational on Saturday.
