CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana - The Marian College women's cross country team picked up a eighth-place finish at the 2008 Wabash Hokum Karum to open the 2008 campaign. The Knights finished with 61 total points.

Senior Stefanie Krueger (Tell City, Indiana/Tell City) and sophomore Emily Miller (Eaton, Indiana/Delta) earned a 25th-place finish out of 51 teams with a time of 25:23 over the four-mile race.
 
Sophomore Adrienne Shepherd (Kokomo, Indiana/Kokomo) and freshman Laura Neuman (Rushville, Indiana/Rushville) earned a 33rd-place finish with a time of 26:11 while senior Julia Konopasek (Munster, Indiana/Munster) and junior Brooke Meier (Brookville, Indiana/Oldenburg Academy) earned a 35th-place finish with a time of 26:22.
 
The Knights hit the road on Saturday when they head to Upland, Indiana, to take part in the Taylor Invitational.
