Dean Peterson are proud to announce the 14th commitment to the Knights for the 2012-13 season.
C.J. Karas is a Rochester Adams High School graduate from Rochester Hills, Mich., and will compete in track, cylco-cross and road competitions.
She was the state champion in the 500-meter time trial and picked up a fourth-place finish at the Junior Track National Championships in the individual pursuit and 500-meter time trial. She was the age group champion at the triathlon club nationals and earned fourth place at the regional track and field meet in the 400-meter run.
She has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club and Make-A-Wish Foundation as a volunteer.
Karas rides for Team Fraser and will major in nursing.
