INDIANAPOLIS - After a trio of strong performances leading the Marian University volleyball team to a 3-0 week, junior setter Kacie Kelly was named the Crossroads League Volleyball Setter of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

Kelly led the Knights' offense with 122 assists in the three matches and averaged 11 assists per set as well as 40.7 assists per match as MU went 3-0 on the week. She notched a season-high 46 assists in the Knights' four-set win over Spring Arbor University before she notched 41 assists in the Knights' four-set win over Bethel last Friday. She tallied 35 assists in MU's three-set victory over Goshen on Saturday to ensure the Knights an unbeaten week.

She also added 11 kills in the three matches, had 27 total digs and has five block assists on the week.

She is the first Knight to earn a player of the week honor since Oct. 17, 2011 when Kelsee Evans earned hitter and player of the week honors.

The Knights (4-3) will take on Hanover College tonight at the Physical Education Center. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. and LIVE VIDEO will be available at www.muknights.com.
