FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Marian University volleyball team dropped a pair of three-set matches at the Indiana Tech/Indiana Wesleyan Crossover at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Friday afternoon.

The Knights fell to Indiana Tech, 19-25, 17-25, 16-25, before dropping their second match of the day to No. 22-ranked Cornerstone University, 17-25, 13-25, 21-25. MU is now 8-8 on the season and has dropped its last three matches.

In the opening match, the Knights were led in attack by junior Becky Gramer. Gramer notched a team-high 10 kills and had a .370 hitting percentage. She also notched five digs in defense.

Junior Kacie Kelly tallied 19 assists and added 10 digs in defense, while senior Jaymee Singleton led the Knights with 21 digs. Junior Karli Williamson also added 10 digs for MU.

The second match had no stats available.

MU will continue the crossover tournament on Saturday when the Knights take on Saint Xavier University, which is receiving votes in the NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Poll, at 12 p.m. They will follow that with a match against Aquinas College at 2 p.m. in Fort Wayne, Ind.
