Steve Mackell is proud to announce the Knights' first commitment for the 2013-14 season.
Danny Albert , who will graduate from Naperville Central High School in the spring , is the Knights' first pickup for the 2013-14 season.
While at Naperville Central he was on the honor roll every semester and was a member of the National Honor Society during his junior and senior years. Albert was also a member of the Spanish Honor Society as a sophomore, junior and senior. He was awarded academic all-conference honors all four years of high school.
Albert is a four-time varsity letter winner at Naperville Central, and served as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons. He made all-conference as a sophomore and junior and earned all-state honors in his junior year. He was able to win conference all four seasons at Naperville Central and was a state finalist in his sophomore and junior seasons.
He also works for the park district and serves as a tennis instructor.
Albert plans on studying business and accounting. He was born on February 14, 1995, to parents Craig and Joanne and he has one sister.
