INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head volleyball coach Ashlee Pritchard is proud to announce her second commitment for the 2013-14 season.

Frannie Stephenson, who will graduate from Eastern Hancock High School this spring, joins Lauren Gregory as the first two commitments to Knights volleyball for next season.

Stephenson was named the Hancock County Player of the Year this past fall and was named second team all-state. She tallied 448 kills in 99 sets and had 265 digs in defense. She was named all-county first team and was a member of the 2012 sectional and regional championship teams.

She was an Indiana Elite South All-Star who earned most valuable player honors and was also an ICGSA South All-Star. She holds the school records for most kills in a match (31) and the single-season kills record with 448 set in 2012. She was also named all-county and all-conference honorable mention as a sophomore.

Stephenson joins Lauren Gregory as the first two commitments for second-year head coach Ashlee Pritchard's Knights. Pritchard led MU to a 14-14 overall record in her first season and an 11-7 mark in the Crossroads League where they finished fifth.
