INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head volleyball coach Ashlee Pritchard is proud to announce the fifth commitment for Knights volleyball for the 2013 season.


Maddie Heidenreich, who will graduate from Perry Meridian High School this spring, is the fifth student-athlete to commit to the Knights for the 2013 season.

Heidenreich, a 5-3 setter, is a National Honor Society member who has achieved honor roll in each of her years at PMHS. She was an all-conference and all-county pick who was a member of three conference championship teams. Her teams also won a sectional championship and two county titles. She was a four-year varsity starter who was named the team's most valuable player as a junior. She led the state in assists in both her junior and senior seasons.

She has extensive experience beyond Perry Meridian having spent seven years with Circle City Volleyball Club and one year with the South Indy Volleyball Club.

She joins Kylie Flanagan, Taylor Greenan, Lauren Gregory and Frannie Stephenson as the commitment for the 2013 season of MU volleyball.
