INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University volleyball team dropped its second straight match and the third in its last four as DePauw University won its 13th straight match in three sets, 25-20, 25-16, 25-13, at the Physical Education Center on Thursday night.

The Knights could not overcome a strong attack by DePauw (.281 percent) and had a poor hitting performance of their own (-.010 percent) in the defeat. They registered just 19 kills in the three sets.

Senior Becky Gramer tallied seven kills, while junior Megen Ruff notched five kills and freshman Emily Graves registered for kills on offense. Freshman Maddie Heidenreich added 14 assists for the Knights.

Defensively, freshman Taylor Greenan registered 17 digs, while Gregory tallied five block assists for the Knights.

MU (9-6) will head to Hinkle Fieldhouse on Saturday to take on Butler University (12-2). First serve is slated for 4 p.m.
