WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The Marian University volleyball team completed the season sweep of Grace College in dramatic fashion with a five-set victory on Wednesday night at the Orthopaedic Capital Center in Winona Lake, Ind.

The Knights overcame losing the first two sets, 17-25, 18-25, by winning the final three sets, 25-18, 25-20, 15-10, to move to 13-9 on the year and 10-5 in Crossroads League play.

Freshman Lauren Gregory registered a double-double with a team-high 15 kills and 13 digs. Freshman Taylor Greenan led MU in defense with 19 digs, while senior Morgan Merrill added five block assists. Senior Kacie Kelly also registered a double-double with 21 assists and 11 digs, while senior Katie Kaiser added 11 digs for MU.

The Knights will return home for the next five matches and will open the homestand with Indiana Wesleyan University (21-6; 12-2 CL) on Friday night at the Physical Education Center. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. and the match will be video-streamed LIVE on the Knights Athletics Network with LIVE STATS in the same portal window at MUKNIGHTS.com.
