INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head women's tennis coach Cassie Mackell is proud to announce the commitment of Audrey Rang for the 2014-15 season.

Rang, who will graduate from Bishop Dwenger High School this spring, was the first to commit to the Knights for the 2014-15 season.

"I am so excited to have Audrey join our MU tennis family," said Mackell, the 2013 Crossroads League Coach of the Year. "Her passion for tennis and her toughness on court will help take our team to the next level. She is a welcomed addition to our team."

She is a member of the National Honor Society who is a Bishop Dwenger Scholar and will graduate in the top 20 percent of her senior class. She was a state tournament participant in each of her four years. She was named to the all-state first team for three seasons and earned all-area first team honors for three years. In 2011-12, Rang and her partner were the state runners-up in the IHSAA Doubles State Championship and earned a berth in the 2012-13 season.
