BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - The 21st-ranked Marian University women's tennis team dropped a tough 6-3 decision at 23rd-ranked Olivet Nazarene on Tuesday night in Bourbonnais, Ill. The Knights fell to 15-9 on the season, while ONU improved to 8-7.

and sophomore Colleen Yager
teamed for MU's lone win in the doubles competition after they earned an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles. The team of senior Brittney Horlacher
and junior Hannah Knust
fell at No. 1 doubles, 1-8, while freshman Anna Potter
and junior Sarah Potter
dropped their match at No. 2 doubles, 5-8.
In singles play, Anna Potter
earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles after being moved up to the position from No. 5. Freshman Grace Neathery
also posted a win at No. 5 singles, 4-6, 6-0, 10-5, after she was moved from No. 6 singles.
Horlacher fell at No. 1 singles, 1-6, 2-6, while Knust lost 3-6, 1-6 at No. 2. Pursell fell 2-6, 0-6 at No. 3, while Yager dropped her first varsity singles match of the season, 3-6, 4-6, at No. 6 singles.
MU plays host to Indiana Tech on Thursday afternoon at the MU Tennis Courts beginning at 3 p.m. in the final spring home match of the 2013-14 season.
