INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University volleyball team snapped a six-match losing streak with a three-set sweep over Spring Arbor University at the Physical Education Center on Wednesday night. The Knights moved to 6-15 overall and 4-10 in the Crossroads League with the win.

Sophomore AlyxaKay Shields led the MU attack with a double-double. Shields tallied a match-high 12 kills and notched 11 digs in defense for the Knights. Sophomores Frannie Stephenson and Crystal Williams each had eight kills, while junior Emily Graves finished with seven kills.

Sophomore Julie Hoying recorded a match-high 32 assists and seven digs while bringing her team-high total to 38 service aces with one on Wednesday. Junior Vanessa Lay added a team-high 12 digs and three service aces, while junior Kylie Flanagan tallied a match-high four service aces.

The Knights will play host to USCAA No. 8-ranked Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (14-12) on Friday night at the Physical Education Center. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. and the match will be video-streamed LIVE at MUKNIGHTS.com with LIVE STATS in the same portal window.
