Junior Logan Personett earns multiple post season honors and breaks numerous MU records
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Junior softball player Logan Personett has earned two post season awards for her play during 2016. Personett has been named NAIA Second Team All-American as well as First Team At-Large by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Personett, from Seymour, Indiana, averaged .467 from the plate, which breaks the single season record set by Helen Rogers set in 2011. With 225 at-bats she has set a new single season at-bat records. Logan's 105 hits over the course of the season breaks the previous single season hits record of 81 set last season by teammate Erica Miller. She also hit 19 doubles, had seven stolen bases, and struck out only 10 times.
