INDIANAPOLIS – The Marian men's tennis team earned a dominating Crossroads League win again, defeating Indiana Wesleyan 7-2 Saturday at the Marian Tennis Courts. The win is the second of the week for the Knights to move to 2-0.

The Knights swept the doubles competitions as Danny Albert and Nathan Bogle led the way with an 8-6 win. Ian Dieters and Marty Pochop picked up a convincing 8-1 win, while Patrick Holly and Alex Wittenbaum won 8-6 as well.

"I was proud of how we came out confident in doubles and then grinded out the singles matches," said head coach Steve Mackell.

In singles play, Pochop won 6-3, 6-2, while Bogle bounced back after a first set loss to take the next two, 6-0, 6-3. Albert and Wittenbaum also won at No. 3 and No. 4. IWU picked up victories as Austin Christner defeated Dieters 6-1, 6-4 and Andrew Block beat Anthony Kendall.
