INDIANAPOLIS – Marty Pochop has been named the men's tennis Crossroads League Player of the Week as announced by the league Tuesday morning.

Pochop enjoyed an undefeated week against Huntington and Indiana Wesleyan. The senior from Valparaiso, Indiana, earned an 8-4 win in doubles play with Ian Dieters last Wednesday against Huntington and the pair followed it with an 8-1 victory Saturday against IWU.

At No. 1 singles, Pochop was dominant in his two matches. Against Huntington, Pochop defeated Ignacio Poncio 6-3, 4-0 and against Wesleyan, Pochop defeated Juan Pedro 6-3, 6-2 to secure the win.
