INDIANAPOLIS – The Marian men's tennis team continued its Crossroads League dominance Wednesday with an 8-1 win over Taylor at the Marian Tennis Courts. With the win, the Knights advance to 3-0 in conference play and won by a combined score of 23-4.

"I was proud of the guys fighting through adversity in doubles and singles today," said head coach Steve Mackell. "Taylor pushed us at many positions and we were able to still come out ahead."

As he has done the entire season, Marty Pochop led the way with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles over Juan Ramirez. He also teamed up with Ian Deiters to win 9-8 (3) at No. 2 doubles.

The Knights won all three doubles, which included Danny Albert and Nathan Bogle's 8-1 win along with Patrick Holly and Alex Wittenbaum's 8-6 win. Albert earned a 6-0, 6-2 win in singles play, while Wittenbaum picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win. Deiters defeated Andre Danelli 6-3, 7-6 (2) at No. 4 singles and Anthony Kendall was a 7-5, 6-4 winner at No. 5 singles.
