INDIANAPOLIS – After shooting a 317 on day one of the Butler Fall Invitational, the Marian women's golf team came back with a 308 on day two to finish fourth out of seven teams with a 625 at Highland Golf and Country Club in Indianapolis.


The Knights finished behind UIndy, IUPUI and Butler, but ahead of Chicago State, Eastern Illinois and Bellarmine. UIndy won with a 297-295=592, while IUPUI followed with a 307-299=606. Butler shot a 303-310=613, which was 12 strokes better than Marian's 625.

For the Knights, Annie Getzin led the way with a 76-77=153, while Emily Tilton shot the low score of the tournament for the Knights with a 72 on Tuesday, finishing with an 84-72=156. The pair finished 11th and 15th, respectively. Taylor Wilson finished 22nd with an 83-77=160, while Anna Tucker and Nina Nicpon were close behind with 162s. Tucker shot a 78-84=162 and Nicpon fired an 80-82=162.
