OKLAHOMA CITY – The Marian women's golf team went to the clubhouse in third place Monday and did not relinquish the spot Tuesday, finishing third at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Knights also broke multiple records over the weekend.

The Knights finished behind Oklahoma City (301-298-297=896) and Texas Wesleyan (319-317-292=928) with a 318-325-304=947. The field contained 11 teams and Marian's 304 on Tuesday was the third-lowest score. Marian's 947 set a program record for 54-holes, besting the old record from last year at the Crossroads League Championship (965).

Getzin tied the individual 54-hole score of 228, set by Angela Gauck in 2007. Emily Tilton and Taylor Wilson also picked up top 20 finishes at 15th and 20th, respectively. Tilton shot a 77-83-75=235, while Wilson fired an 81-82-77=240. Nina Nicpon finished tied for 32nd and improved every round, shooting a 90-81-79=250. Anna Tucker rounded out the Knights with an 85-89-78=252, which was good for 36th place.
