INDIANAPOLIS – The Marian softball team has signed Sarah Kush of Martinsville High School and Martinsville, Indiana.

Kush will catch and play third base for the Knights. Last season, she batted .353 with a .433 on-base percentage, while tallying 17 hits, 11 RBI's, 11 runs, and 10 stolen bases.  She had a 1.000 fielding percentage last year.

"Sarah will add depth behind the plate and at third base," said head coach Scott Fleming. "She has a strong bat and is an extremely hard worker. She is off the charts academically and is also involved in music. She is a great addition to Marian University and our softball team."

Kush plays for the Gators Travel Organization and will major in nursing. Your online source for Marian Athletics, tickets, multimedia, Knight merchandise, photos and more.
