INDIANAPOLIS – The Marian volleyball team and head coach Ashlee Pritchard has welcomed two new transfer student-athletes in Olivia Gillum and Sarah Clem. Both are currently sophomores.

Gillum comes to Marian from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She was named to the GLVC Academic All-Conference team and also made the Dean's List twice. Prior to college, Gillum attended Roncalli High School in Indianapolis where she racked up 1,027 career digs.

Gillum was named the All-Marian County Player of the Year in 2013 and was a two-time Indiana All-Star invitee. Her team was a semi-state runner-up in 2014 and a four-year varsity letterwinner.

Clem is transferring from Georgetown College where she was named the most improved player last season. She was all named to the Academic All-Mid-South Conference team, the Dean's List and initiated into the Alpha Lambda Delta National Academic Honors Society.

Clem graduated from Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis and was named second team all-state while there. She was also named all-country, all-conference and team MVP. She was named best offensive player twice and is honored on the school's wall of fame.
