LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Marian women's golf team came back from a 355 on day one of the Midway Invitational to win the tournament with a 312 on Tuesday, securing first place out of eight teams. The Knights' 667 gave them the win by three strokes.

Marian struggled through the first day, shooting a 355 and sitting in fourth place. The Knights were 10 strokes behind Bethel for the lead after the first day, but made up the ground on day two with the low score of 312. Marian's second day score was13 strokes better than Bethel's and the Knights picked up the win in their second to last tournament of the regular season.

Emily Tilton finished second overall with an 83+76=159, while Taylor Wilson joined her in the top 10, finishing seventh with a 89+77=166. Anna Tucker and Nina Nicpon finished tied for 13th with a 171. Tucker had a huge turnaround on day two, shooting a 94+77=171, while Nicpon fired a 89+82=171. Devan Gabbard shot a 94+86=180.
