Gulf Shores, Ala. - Following yesterday's exciting action at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium, the Knights are back on the track for another full day of trial races. Yesterday the men's 4x100 relay qualified for Saturday's finals, while Moussa Conde set the Marian 200M dash record. Marian track will compete in four events today, coming in the men's 110M hurdles, the men's 200M dash, and both the men's and women's 4x400M relay.

The Knights will begin the day with Taylor Killings and Moussa Conde competing in the 110 high-hurdles. Conde and Killings are both competing in the second heat, running side by side in lanes four and five. The hurdles race begins at approximately 1:45 p.m. CDT. There are four heats in the hurdles, and in order to advance to the finals the top runner from each heat will automatically advance. The next four runners with the fastest times will also advance to the finals.

Following the hurdles, Presley Martin takes the track to compete in the 800 meter run trials. Martin is running in the third and final heat, starting in lane six. The top two runners from the three heats will automatically advance to the finals, as well as the next two top finishers.

The Knights will finish the day with both the women's and men's 4x400 relay race. The women will begin at 7:45 p.m. CDT, and the men's race will follow the conclusion. The women's team will include Olivia Koehl, Lateefah Birks, Kyndal Herring, and Raven Gibson. The women's relay event consists of three heats, so the top two from each heat will make up six of the eight finalists. The next two top finishes will complete the eight school field in the finals.

The men's team will consist of Zach Sneiderwine, Conde, Aaron Murray, and Mychal Vinson. There are two heats in the men's 4x400 race, and the top two finishers from each heat will advance to the finals. The top four finishers after that will complete the eight team field for Saturday's finals.
